Archer Capital specialises in mid-market leveraged buyouts and is currently investing Archer Capital Fund 5. Archer Capital Fund 5 seeks mid-market LBO opportunities in Australia and New Zealand, favouring businesses with the opportunity to invest $75 million of equity or higher. Archer Capital considers an active partnership with management throughout the lifecycle of an investment as an essential foundation for success. We acquire companies in equity partnership with management, either the incumbent management team or a buy-in team. We assist managers to acquire or expand businesses by providing capital and, just as importantly, we actively support those managers to grow the value of their businesses and ultimately to realise that value. We bring operational expertise to our portfolio companies as well as financial and strategic capability. The quality of a business is the key to the success of a transaction. Our expertise lies in identifying potential investment opportunities with businesses in a strong market position and/or with growth potential, with strong cash flows and significant opportunities to improve operational performance. Ultimately, our skill lies in increasing and realising the value of a business. In April 2018, Archer Capital announced it would be winding up its operations.
