The Paspaley Family owns the Paspaley Group of companies, a diverse portfolio including pearling, agriculture, property and retail. The Paspaley Family has its origins in the pearling industry, where, commencing in 1935, Nicholas Paspaley pioneered the Australian South Sea pearling industry. Today, pearling remains approximately 40% of the group's annual turnover and represents approximately 70% of Australia's annual pearl production.
