Blackbird Ventures

It invests across software, deep tech, climate, fintech, health and other technology-led sectors, with portfolio companies including Canva, SafetyCulture, Culture Amp, Zoox and Halter.
Startmate
The Startmate Accelerator is a 12-week program for startups who are changing the way we work, live and play, and we're powered by the most successful entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in Australia.
Startmate invests in great Australian founders who are on a mission to be the best in the world. Startmate is powered by its mentors - successful startup founders who invest their own time and money in each batch. The mentors have extensive experience growing successful tech businesses such as Atlassian co-founders, Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar.
Over 200 startups from across the country apply to be a part of each batch and 25 of these are shortlisted for interviews. Of these, we select the best eight. Startmate offers $75,000 cash for 7.5% equity. For startups that have raised more than $250,000, we will match the terms of the last round of funding.
General Catalyst
General Catalyst is a venture capital firm that invests in transformational companies. We proudly invest in fearless entrepreneurs who are building foundational enterprise technologies and ubiquitous consumer brands. We do everything we can to help them realize their vision. We invest in all sectors, focusing primarily on tech-enabled companies.
General Catalyst's support for founders transcends geography, sector, stage and investment lead and includes GC-powered platforms like Rough Draft Ventures, our student founder-focused program, Executives in Residence (XIR's) and the Velocity Network that connects enterprise companies with customers.
Grok Ventures
Grok Ventures is the private investing vehicle of Mike Cannon-Brookes, co-founder of Atlassian and one of Australia's most successful technology entrepreneurs. Grok Ventures invests in fast-growing technology-enabled businesses with world-class management teams who are solving big problems. Grok particularly likes food and energy companies. We have private, patient, long-term capital, with the flexibility to participate from early-stage or seed financing through to late stage funding rounds (although we prefer to be involved earlier).
Founders Fund
Founders Fund is a San Francisco-based venture fund that invests in revolutionary technologies. We focus on investing in smart people solving difficult problems - to do so, we will invest at all stages across almost any sector. Unlike many venture firms in Silicon Valley, this means that Founders Fund does not limit itself to internet-based technology and software. Founders Fund has and will continue to invest in areas including biotechnology, energy, hardware, and aerospace. Founders Fund was founded by Peter Thiel, Ken Howery and Luke Nosek in 2005 and raised its first fund that year. In 2016 Founders Fund raised a $1.3 billion fund, its sixth fund to date.
