About

Khosla Ventures is a seed and later stage venture capital firm focused on technology-enabled companies with huge potential. Fundamentally, we are looking for 'black swan' ideas or a significantly better mousetrap. High impact innovation with significant upside. Big markets and short innovation cycles. At the seed stage we look for crazy ideas addressing well articulated problems. We look for companies with unfair advantages - be it science, IP, business-model innovation or a partnership. At later stages, we expect to see more progress. The problem the company is solving should now be clearly identifiable in one sentence. The market size and potential should be identified using bottom-up analysis. There should be a clear go-to-market strategy.

Horsley Bridge Partners
Horsley Bridge Partners is a Private Equity and Venture Capital Fund of Funds, meaning it invests capital into other private equity and venture capital fund managers. Horsley does not invest in companies directly. In Private Equity, Horsley looks for ambitious partners with differentiated strategies. We like smaller funds investing in hard to find places, where company-building expertise has a greater impact. In Venture Capital, we invest in leading seed and early stage venture funds that have access to the most coveted technology-related investment opportunities.
Wavemaker Partners
Wavemaker Partners is an early-stage venture capital firm dual headquartered in Los Angeles and Singapore. In Southeast Asia, Wavemaker focuses on enterprise and deep technology companies. We have invested in more than 80 companies in the region (80% in enterprise, 20% deep tech). In Los Angeles, we have a long history of technology investments across a number of categories. We usually start with small investments in early-stage companies, and work with these companies before participating (where appropriate) in larger follow-on fundraisings. We invest in a larger number of companies per fund than most VCs and believe this approach maximises returns to our investors. Wavemaker is the regional partner for Southern California and South East Asia for the Draper Venture Network (DVN), one of the world's leading VC collectives.
Adams Street Partners
Adams Street Partners is an investment manager headquartered in Chicago with offices worldwide. We have investment funds targeting private equity, venture capital, credit, co-investment and other private markets asset classes. We invest both directly and through fund of funds strategies. In growth equity, we invest directly in rapidly growing, multi-stage, category-leading software, mobile, healthcare, security, and financial technology companies. In private credit, we invest across the entire capital structure, targeting middle-market companies with enterprise value of $150 - $750 million. We also have separate primary, secondary and co-investment fund strategies.
Cooper Family Office
The Cooper Family Office manages the investments of the Cooper Family of Florida. The Cooper Family Office invests globally in hedge funds, private equity and venture funds, in addition to direct investments in operating companies and other private opportunities, including real estate. We also invest in certain early and later stage startup ventures, and will, on occasion, invest seed capital with new managers. We also co-invest extensively with other family offices. The Cooper Family Office was formed by Howard Cooper, who primarily generated his wealth from stock trading.
