Atapco Properties
Atapco Properties is a property investment company owned by the Hirschhorn and Roswell branches of the descendants of Louis Blaustein, an American oil and gas entrepreneur. Atapco Properties focuses on the acquisition, development and operation of high-quality commercial real estate properties.
Atapco currently owns and operates industrial, retail, office, residential and mixed-use properties in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. We look to acquire properties between $5 and $75 million, with one of the following angles: transit-oriented development, redevelopment, development in urban/urbanizing markets, new development in industrial or growth zones, value-add or opportunistic development, and land for residential lot development.
We also utlise our substantial property expertise to provide full service development, property leasing, sales and property management services to third parties for properties we don't own.

We focus on investing in smart people solving difficult problems - to do so, we will invest at all stages across almost any sector. Unlike many venture firms in Silicon Valley, this means that Founders Fund does not limit itself to internet-based technology and software. Founders Fund has and will continue to invest in areas including biotechnology, energy, hardware, and aerospace. Founders Fund was founded by Peter Thiel, Ken Howery and Luke Nosek in 2005 and raised its first fund that year. In 2016 Founders Fund raised a $1.3 billion fund, its sixth fund to date.

Foundry Group is a Colorado-based venture firm that invests in early-stage and growth-stage companies headquartered in the US and Canada. Foundry Group also invests in select, newly-formed venture capital fund managers. Foundry Group formed in 2007 and originally focused on Seed and Series A investments. It raised a growth-stage fund in 2014 (Foundry Group Next), and a fund dedicated to investing in other venture funds (Foundry Group Next) in 2016.
Regardless of the size of our initial investment, the size and structure of our funds allow us to continue to fund portfolio companies through their entire financing lifecycles. In addition, our venture capital fund investments give us insight and access to a large number of venture-backed companies at varying stages while extending the reach of our overall network. In addition to providing capital, we leverage our experience in starting and growing companies, our expertise in the technology industry, and our network of relationships to help outstanding entrepreneurs and venture capital fund managers turn great ideas into great companies.
Venrock
Venrock is a venture capital firm headquartered in Palo Alto that focuses on disruptive early-stage technology startups. Venrock partners with entrepreneurs who have grand ambitions and want to tackle big, hard problems that most think impossible. Venrock today consists of two separate programs: a traditional venture capital program, focused on early stage investing in healthcare and technology companies; and a later-stage healthcare program, which implements a venture capital-like long-term approach to investment opportunities in small capitalization public companies and late-stage private healthcare companies.
Venrock was formed in 1969 as a venture arm of the Rockefeller family (the name Venrock being a compound of Venture and Rockefeller), who have a long history of venture-style investing dating back to the early 20th century.
