About

Sapphire Ventures is a US venture capital fund that invests in visionary companies seeking to change the way we work and live. We write initial cheques as little as $5-10m for expansion-stage companies and can invest up to $100m in later stage businesses. We have a long history of venture investing across numerous cycles and provide our portfolio companies with significant expertise beyond capital. One of our core focuses is on enterprise tech in US, Europe and Israel. Through Sapphire Sports and our dedicated funds, we also invest at the intersection of tech, sports, media and entertainment. In addition, through Sapphire Partners we invest in early-stage venture capital funds with deep expertise in enterprise and consumer tech in the US, Europe and Israel. Sapphire Ventures was formerly the corporate venture capital arm of SAP before being spun out in 2011.
