About
Felicis Ventures is a boutique venture capital fund that looks to back the world's iconic companies of today and tomorrow. We have a passion for product and out-of-the-box thinking and we customize our relationship with each portfolio company in a way that is meaningful and critical for them. In these partnerships with founders we strive to deliver high value help where needed. Felicis backs founders from diverse backgrounds in their quest to open up frontier markets, such as longevity and engineered foods, and reinvent critical markets such as mental health and insurance.
We feel strongly that great investments are a consequence of deep conviction. We do our homework and are vocal when we see the most interesting opportunities. We are not driven by ownership and do not make investment decisions based solely on potential exit size. At the same time our fund has enough scale to allow us to play a critical role for the companies we back. As our track record indicates, we define success in the same way as our founders.
We believe in backing iconic founders regardless of their location, including places outside of the United States. We're proud of the fact that our portfolio founders originate from 40+ different countries across a multitude of continents. We have invested in companies with operations in 15+ countries including Armenia, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Turkey, and the US. Outside the US, we look for businesses with the potential to be global winners like Shopify and Adyen.

Greycroft Partners
Greycroft Partners is a New York based venture capital firm with a flexible, long term investment approach. We can invest at any stage of a startup's lifecycle, and have separate funds that invest at earlier stages ($100K to $5m first cheque, with follow-on rounds up to $10m) and later stage pre-IPO rounds ($10m first cheque, up to $35m total). Greycroft is flexible on ownership percentage, check size, and board seats which means we can bring together syndicates that may be impossible with the stricter requirements of other funds.
We are truly long-term, and we often hold investments for over ten years. Although we have a greater number of investments in the US, we can and have invested globally, including Europe and Asia.
Our portfolio companies benefit from active, hands-on assistance from the partners. Greycroft's partners work as a team, which means our CEOs have access to the collective rolodex and expertise of the entire partnership. We leverage an extensive network of media and technology connections to help you gain visibility, build strategic partnerships, and successfully exit.
