Exto Partners is a diversified private investment firm. We invest in and work with both emerging and established companies to achieve their potential. Exto Partners specialises in providing both expansion and venture capital. We have a portfolio of investments across a broad range of industries, including: education, industrial safety, retail, health, clean tech, mining services and online marketplaces. Unlike other private equity and venture capital firms, we do not subscribe to the theory of focusing on total portfolio returns. We do not assume some investments will fail and hope the poor performance will be outweighed by one or two big successes. Exto Partners concentrates on building core value in each of its portfolio companies rather than relying on financial engineering. We establish innovative, sustainable and high growth business strategies and invest heavily in both people and systems to enable each company to successfully execute on the strategy. We invest in private Australian companies and take a medium term view on business performance. We take meaningful equity positions (30%+) and deliver hands on collaborative engagement with founders, boards and management.
