To date, Aura Group has been an integral part of the success stories of a number of local start-ups from a variety of sectors. These include Catapult Sports (global leader in wearable analytics), Finsure (Australia's fastest growing mortgage aggregator) and InStitchu (Australia's leading online provider of tailored menswear).
The Aura Investment Doctrine has been shaped through the years of experience we have in this asset class both as founders and investors. It is a widely referenced document within our firm and has become our philosophy for the Venture Capital landscape.
This Doctrine outlines key criteria that must be observed when identifying new opportunities and includes engaging with a proven concept, Identification of positive thematics, Deep assessment of the business environment, Ensuring a clear path to profitability and
Partnering with a strong management team.
If a company does not possess all of these characteristics we simply will not invest.
Alto Partners Multi-Family Office
Alto Partners is one of the region's first Multi-Family Offices founded by and for Asia's leading entrepreneurs and next-generation investors. We offer innovative services across Family Office Administration, Investment Management and Principal Investments. Forge Ventures (SEA-focused fund) and Ansible Ventures (Vietnam-focused fund) were launched to support our proprietary pipeline of pre-seed/seed investments.
Since its establishment in 2013, it has invested in dozens of Southeast Asia's leading founders. Many entrepreneurs it backed with its financial and strategic capital have become Asia's most celebrated success stories. As it achieves exits alongside founders, it becomes the family office of choice for new entrepreneurial wealth, which is often re-invested into next generation start-ups. This entrepreneur-focused cycle of venture funding, exits and re-investment underpins the growth of the family office, which today includes the founders of Gojek, Bank Jago, Kopi Kenangan, Jobstreet, Northstar and others from Asia's venture ecosystem.
