Golden Gate Ventures
Golden Gate Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on Southeast Asia. Golden Gate invests in Seed, Series A and bridge rounds in mobile and internet startups across multiple sectors. Although we prefer startups based in Southeast Asia, we also look at companies based in offshore markets that are interested in expanding to SE Asia. We have local partners in each country and co-invest with local investors. All of our founding partners have built startups of their own, and we have access to a deep network of mentors and advisors to support our investee companies.
B Capital Group
B Capital Goup invests in B2B startups in four areas: consumer enablement, financial services & insurance, health & wellness, and industrial & transportation. Our team has substantial expertise and connections in these areas and is able to leverage this skillset to assist our investee companies in reaching scale. We look for transformative startups and invest in an early expansion stage (usually Series B or C), at a time when the company is reading for rapid growth and acceleration. We focus on India, South East Asia and the United States and we have a partnership with Boston Consulting Group and its BCG Digital Ventures accelerator. B Capital was founded by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Raj Ganguly.
Wavemaker Partners
Wavemaker Partners is an early-stage venture capital firm dual headquartered in Los Angeles and Singapore. In Southeast Asia, Wavemaker focuses on enterprise and deep technology companies. We have invested in more than 80 companies in the region (80% in enterprise, 20% deep tech). In Los Angeles, we have a long history of technology investments across a number of categories. We usually start with small investments in early-stage companies, and work with these companies before participating (where appropriate) in larger follow-on fundraisings. We invest in a larger number of companies per fund than most VCs and believe this approach maximises returns to our investors. Wavemaker is the regional partner for Southern California and South East Asia for the Draper Venture Network (DVN), one of the world's leading VC collectives.
Arowana Investments
Our business model is simple: we invest in and operate small and medium-sized enterprises, providing the support critical to realising great success. We help our partners develop and to overcome inevitable growing pains and challenges along the way, never losing sight of the long term. We are true partners. We find businesses that serve a real purpose within their industries and in society, but need our support to manoeuvre into sustained growth. We are not consultants who engage from the sidelines; we are hands-on investors and the Arowana team is always ready to roll up their sleeves and work in the trenches alongside management teams to overcome any challenge and develop thoughtful and creative solutions. Our perspective is distinctly global and cross-sector, from technology and finance to leadership and data science, among many others. As a result, we are able to join the dots, exporting learnings from one industry to another. We pair experience and instinct with rigorous in-depth, immersive research and analysis, allowing us to find opportunity for investment and operational value creation where others may not.
Cocoon Capital
Cocoon Capital is a Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm focusing on digital companies across Southeast Asia. Typically we invest post a MVP (Minimum viable product), but where fine-tuning of the product and business model remains. With a stellar track record of its seasoned partners, Cocoon Capital has the experience to help you get your business off the ground. We have a unique model. We select only 6 companies per year to ensure sufficient capacity to support our founders - a model we have followed for last 15 years. We engage with our start-ups like trusted advisors providing the founding teams additional resources with the objective to guide, counsel and help them develop new skills. To best support our start-ups, we surround ourselves with a range of partners, each experts in their field to support and guide businesses towards global best practices. Note that we invest in the whole of South East Asia & India, however all companies must have their holding company in Singapore before we write the cheque. We primarily target B2B businesses with a preference for SaaS, ecommerce and fintech. We believe this verticals have the largest chance of success in the current market environment.

Vertex HC invests in healthcare opportunities. We invest in and work with high-growth medical device, biotech, and digital health companies, at all stages, worldwide.
