Octopus Ventures
Octopus Ventures is one of Europe's most active experienced venture capital firms, and has invested in more than 100 companies since its 1999 founding. Octopus Ventures invests in both enterprise and consumer-focused startups, and participates from Seed (typical investment $1m) to Series A (typical investment $4m). Our team knows what it is like on the other side of the fence. Before joining Octopus, many of the team established themselves in other industries, from consumer goods and professional services to technology and telecoms, and several launched and sold their own startups.
Seedcamp
Seedcamp is one of the leading European seed funds. Seedcamp usually leads the first investment in a promising startup with a cheque of £100K for 7.5% equity. We will also co-invest in seed rounds alongside other investors. We tend to focus on European founders but we will in certain circumstances invest outside this geography. Our global HQ is in London at the Google Campus.
We are sector agnostic. We focus on backing world-class founders creating valuable, tech businesses for sufficiently large addressable markets. We want you to be solving big problems for big markets. We aren't afraid to take risks so you shouldn't be afraid to be ambitious and far reaching.
We believe investing at the earliest stage is the greatest asset we can bring to your company. Whether it's finding product market fit, founder disputes, building out your sales and marketing capabilities or introductions to our global network, we provide you with a carefully curated core team and community of incredible people across the world to help you build your business.

Fuel Ventures was founded by entrepreneur and investor Mark Pearson, and provides a unique combination of mentorship, experience and access to capital required to drive success. Many of our investee companies base themselves in our London office. We enjoy rolling up our sleeves and building companies alongside the founders and their teams.
Entrepreneurs First
Entrepreneurs First (EF) is a global talent investor that backs individuals before they have a cofounder, company or fully formed idea. It supports cofounder matching, idea development and company building, with offices in London, Paris, Bangalore and San Francisco and a fundraising and launch program in San Francisco. EF reports that its portfolio companies are collectively valued at over USD 16 billion. Its current U.S. funding pathway offers USD 125,000 through a post-money SAFE for 8% of the company, plus an optional USD 125,000 uncapped MFN SAFE from EF and partner Transpose Platform, available when founders relocate to San Francisco and incorporate as a Delaware C-Corp. Terms differ by program; these U.S. terms are not a firm-wide investment range.
Episode1 Ventures
Episode1 Ventures is an Enterprise Capital Fund supported by the UK government and private investors that invests in small, high-growth businesses. We invest at the seed stage, and look for a working product with clear demand, customer acquisition plan, and path to revenues. We especially like SaaS and other subscription models. Episode1 Ventures looks for startups entering markets (ideally global) of more than $500m, with the potential to generate exits of more than $100m. We look for world class leadership teams with relevant past experience and a deep understanding of the market and customer.
