About
TPG Sixth Street Partners (TSSP) is a global special situations investor. We invest in structured equity and credit, distressed debt, liquid debt, and other forms of capital. We focus on actively managed opportunistic investments in companies and assets, seeking to purchase or originate investments across the economic cycle by targeting opportunities with compelling risk-reward characteristics. We seek top-down investment themes in dislocated sectors as well as bottom-up opportunities in situations where we can deliver value and/or improve outcomes through our active operating and servicing expertise. We do not generally participate in buyouts - these fall under the mandate of our parent company, TPG Capital.
