Grok Ventures invests in fast-growing technology-enabled businesses with world-class management teams who are solving big problems. Grok particularly likes food and energy companies. We have private, patient, long-term capital, with the flexibility to participate from early-stage or seed financing through to late stage funding rounds (although we prefer to be involved earlier).

Allan Moss Investments is the private investment company of Allan Moss, CEO of Macquarie Bank from 1993 to 2008. Allan Moss Investments invests in a variety of industries and company stages.

Tozer and Co is the family office investing vehicle of Craig and David Tozer. Craig and David Tozer are experienced investors, advisors and managers. We look at a wide range of investments, from early stage venture capital through to distressed and turnaround situations. We frequently partner with other investors.

Bailador is a growth capital fund listed on the ASX and focused on the information technology sector. Bailador takes minority stakes in businesses within the technology sector that are seeking growth stage investment. We look for founder-run businesses that have a 2-6 year operating history, with a proven business model and repeat revenue generation, and an international customer base within a large market. Bailador especially likes the following business models: eCommerce, subscription-based internet businesses, online marketplaces, software, SaaS, high value data, online education, telecommunication applications and services.

Thorney Investments is one of Australia's most successful private investment groups. Thorney was founded by Alex Waislitz and invests in a variety of listed and unlisted opportunities in Australia and the United States. As a private investing vehicle / family office, Thorney Investments has a lot of flexibility in its investment strategies. A large part of this strategy has involved investments in small (typically sub A$200 million market cap), high-growth businesses listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). Since 2013, Thorney also has separate funds open to other investments including Thorney Opportunities (listed on the ASX) and Thorney Technologies. Thorney was founded in 1991 when Richard Pratt, founder of Amcor (the world's leading packaging company), seeded Alex Waislitz with $1.15 million of investment capital.
