We draw on a global network of experience, and the full resources of Bain Capital, one of the world's leading alternative asset firms with more than $60 billion under management across a variety of investment strategies. Our focus areas currently include business applications (DocuSign, SendGrid, Gainsight), infrastructure and security (Redis Labs, Rubrik, Armis), financial technology (Acorns, IEX), healthcare IT (AbleTo, ABILITY Network), and consumer (Rent the Runway, Jet). We also have emerging practices in autonomy/mobility (Ike, Lime) and cryptocurrency (DCG, Compound Labs). Bain Capital Ventures invests globally, although the majority of our investments are in the United States

Horsley Bridge Partners is a Private Equity and Venture Capital Fund of Funds, meaning it invests capital into other private equity and venture capital fund managers. Horsley does not invest in companies directly. In Private Equity, Horsley looks for ambitious partners with differentiated strategies. We like smaller funds investing in hard to find places, where company-building expertise has a greater impact. In Venture Capital, we invest in leading seed and early stage venture funds that have access to the most coveted technology-related investment opportunities.

The Cooper Family Office manages the investments of the Cooper Family of Florida. The Cooper Family Office invests globally in hedge funds, private equity and venture funds, in addition to direct investments in operating companies and other private opportunities, including real estate. We also invest in certain early and later stage startup ventures, and will, on occasion, invest seed capital with new managers. We also co-invest extensively with other family offices. The Cooper Family Office was formed by Howard Cooper, who primarily generated his wealth from stock trading.
